🌍🙏🏼World Day of Prayer – Friday, March 6th, 2026 🙏🏼🌍

Growing in faith as part of a community is an important part of life with Presbyterian Women and Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Many groups and individuals also nurture their faith ecumenically through World Day of Prayer.

World Day of Prayer is a global movement of Christian women who pray and act for peace and justice. Each year on the first Friday of March, women in more than 170 countries and regions join their hearts and voices in prayer. 🌏

Each year a different country prepares the worship materials and shares about their culture, history, and faith. For 2026, the service was written by the women of Nigeria, offering a message of hope, peace, and encouragement in the midst of life’s challenges.

As women unite in prayer, they ask God to bring healing, overcome barriers, and guide the world toward peace, justice, and well-being. Offerings collected through World Day of Prayer help support programs and grants connected to the host country—reminding us that prayer and action go hand in hand. ✨

Even if you are simply pausing to pray that day, you are joining a powerful wave of prayer moving across the world. 💛

Easter lilies are a beautiful symbol of purity, hope, and new life. They remind us of Christ’s resurrection and the promise of new beginnings. Their bright white blooms point us to the joy and victory of Easter morning! ✝️🌿

Honor or remember a loved one, or help decorate our sanctuary for Easter with these meaningful flowers. 🐰🙏🏼

Please continue to give tithes and offerings. There is still a need to keep facilities running, bills paid, and staff compensation as they work from home and the Church Office.

• Presbyterian Women’s (PW) Circles (see calender for specific times and meeting places)

1st Thursday:

• Fellowship Committee meets from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
• Shalom meets from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

3rd Tuesday:

PW Birthday Luncheon: Monthly birthday’s are celebrated together at different local restaurants

Sunday:

• 8:45-9:45 a.m. – Sunday School for all ages (Christian Education Building “F1”)
• 8:45-9:45 a.m. – Adult Choir Practice (Holbrook Hall “H2,3”)
• 10:00 a.m. – Worship (Sanctuary “S1)
• 11:15 a.m. – Friendship Time with light refreshments (“F1,2”)

Tuesday:

• 9:45 a.m. – Joy Circle (First Tuesday)

Wednesday

• 12:30 p.m. – Cookie Baking to Distribute to Local Hunger Programs

Thursday:

• 1:30 p.m. – Prayer Group in the Church Library (First Thursday)
• 2:00 p.m. – Fellowship Circle (First Thursday)
